Membership

If you have a vested interest in the railroad industry through your current or former employment or through a relative’s employment.... NARBW is the organization for you.

To be eligible for membership, a woman must be currently or formerly employed by a Railroad (freight, passenger or tourist) or Railroad connected industry. Women who are connected to someone who is currently or formerly employed by a Railroad (freight, passenger or tourist) or Railroad related industry are also eligible for membership. Membership must be approved by the chapter board of Directors.

There are two types of memberships offered by NARBW. Chapter membership gives you the opportunity to join an established chapter in your area with the ability to attend monthly meetings and take an active role in the activities on a chapter, district and national level. Membership cost varies by chapter from $20 -$25 per year.

The Member-at-Large status gives you the opportunity to join NARBW even though a chapter has not been established in your area. You receive the CAPSULE, our national newsletter, may attend chapter meetings when you are in an area where a chapter exists; as well as district conferences and the national convention. Dues for the Member-at-Large status are $25 a year and a $10 initiation fee. Fill out the application and mail it to our National Membership Chairman.
