The Roanoke ladies hosted a St. Patrick’s Day Party for the veterans at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salem, Virginia. Alverta Steptoe, a former VA employed nurse, planned the whole affair.
The members brought finger food, cakes, drinks and ice cream and served approximately twenty patients. It was quite an experience for the ten members that attended; it made them realize how grateful we should be to our Veterans. What a memorable day!!! View Event Photos
