Sandy Hall, NARBW’s 2013 Woman of the Year

Sandy Hall joined the Jacksonville Chapter in 1983 and has not stopped since. Sandy has served NARBW on the Chapter, District and National levels for many years, serving as National President 2004 – 2006. Sandy attended her first convention in 1985 and was inspired to go further in the organization. Sandy is a mentor to new members. She is active with many community activities and projects, supporting each with her time and financial gifts for many years.


NARBW introduced Sandy to the Lutheran Social Services and the Food Bank and their main fund raiser is the “Empty Bowls Luncheon” and has served on the committee for the past 14 years. In 2007 she was elected Volunteer of the Year by the Lutheran Social Services and accepted the award in the name of NARBW. Sandy’s railroad career spans 39 years.
